Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding

Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding

Sometimes you just remember the first time you heard about a couple’s wedding plans. Whether thats because they have some outrageously good wedding ideas, or if it’s because it’s an alternative wedding from the normal. Well these guys ticked both those boxes. Having their wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf London certainly got my heart racing a little. But it was when they said it was a Caribbean themes wedding and they were going to go on a cruise down the Thames for a couple hours, filled with Rum, I nearly fell of me chair!

Greg & Sarah were a dream to shoot, from the getting ready right the way through to the dancing in the evening, nothing seemed to get in their way of having a great day! It was my first time at Trinity Buoy Wharf, and I would love to return one day to shoot another wedding!

So here you are Greg & Sarah, a whole bunch of your wedding photos to feast you eyes on. Treasure and print them for all to see :D x

The Orangery Maidstone Wedding Photography

The Orangery Maidstone Wedding Photography

I’ve had the distinct pleasure this year to photograph two weddings where they were somehow connected to me through school. At one wedding recently the groom was an old pal from 6th form, and the other wedding (this one you’re looking at) one of the bridesmaids was an old pal from 6th form, it’s ‘abnormal’ for me to see familiar faces from my schools days! But love it all the same….

This wedding was one of the most amazing weddings I’ve done recently at The Orangery Maidstone Wedding Photography in Kent. The day for Kat & Jack started at the cutest Airbnb about 20minutes away from the church, good vibes were happening and I hung the dress from a tree. Yep. Hung it from a tree. Looked nice though!

After the ceremony we headed off down to The Orangery Maidstone Wedding venue. It was the first time I had been there but I hope it’s not the last! I want to head back sometime soon because it’s pretty much a wedding photographer’s dream. Plenty of places to shoot the couple, I could have spent hours doing the couples shots but I don’t want to put them through that haha

Photographing a couple like Kat & Jack at The Orangery Maidstone was a absolute pleasure! A friend asked me recently what’s my favourite type of wedding? A marquee wedding? A Tipi wedding? Manor House wedding? Well none of those actually, my favourite type is shooting a wedding where the couple are just perfect for each other, because when you see one of them and have the best seat in the house for it, all the other stuff becomes a bit irrelevant to me. Without sounding too mushy, its all about capturing couples at their best, that’s my favourite type of wedding.

Anyway, Kat & Jack, you pair of peaches, here are your wedding snaps. Enjoy and I hope to see you both again one day! And if you’re looking for a Orangery Maidstone Wedding Photographer, then do get in touch!

Gate Street Barn, what a gem of a venue this place is. Everything you could ever want in a wedding venue! Simply put, it has beautiful views, perfect places for sunset shots & you can have your entire day there in a gorgeously decorated barn! Oh and there are cows wandering about in the next field to look at, what’s not to like about wandering cows!?!

Anyway, more to the wedding! I first shot Roma & Russell on their pre-wedding shoot at Virginia Water Lake back in June, and straight away I knew that these two would be perfect in front of the camera, they were just so flawless in being normal together haha When I said to them ignore me the best you can, they did, and instantly gave me some lovely looks and poses to work off. Perfect :)

I loved shooting their day at Gate Street Barn Wedding Photography, everything just seemed to flow nicely from one stage to the next with minimal intrusion or disruption. And what’s best about their day for me, was how much I thoroughly enjoyed photographing them and getting some AMAZING results in the process. I secretly didn’t want to stop editing their shots haha!

So here you are Roma & Russell, your GORGEOUS wedding photos! I hope you like them and treasure them forever :D

I love Weddings. I love good, nice weddings that just flow seamlessly from one stage in the day to the next, with no hassle or fuss from anything or anyone. Thats what I like about a good wedding. Rebecca & Adam's wedding went from Getting Ready all the way through to dancing without a hiccup (at least I didn't notice any anyway! All hell could have broke lose at one point but I certainly didn't notice haha).

What I love more about a good, nice wedding (I need better adjectives I know) is that the venue is oh so amazing that I literally could spend an entire day shooting a couple there. Loseley Park Wedding Venue gives a fantastic opportunity to their couples to get some fun, quirky wedding photos alongside the good ol' informal wedding photos too.

So back to how the day went for Rebecca & Adam... I met up with Rebecca at her family home in Cobham to do some getting ready shots of her and her bridesmaids, and erm... well nothing to report really, apart from a chilled & relaxed atmosphere to settle into the day, perfect start to be honest!

After the ceremony we all arrived at Loseley Park Wedding Venue for the rest of the day, and wow oh wow what a setting for a wedding! Me, Rebecca and Adam spent about 15minutes or so wandering around the grounds getting some amazing shots in their pristine gardens and main house (keep scrolling and you'll see!).

I had a fantastic time at Loseley Park, and more so with the couple and all their friends and family too. So here you are Rebecca and Adam... your snaps :) Enjoy!

I love being able to travel somewhere new and exciting for a wedding, especially if it's up in the Peak District. I had never been to the Peak District before, and was blown away by the surroundings when we got there, so much so, both Alice and me felt it was necessary to climb Mam Tor at sunset for some nice new about me photos

Anyway, back to the gorgeous wedding of Elleni & Ant at The Pavilion at Brookfield Manor. I found out on the morning of the wedding that this was the first ever outside ceremony to be held in the Temple area at Brookfield Manor, something that I felt very humbled to be a part of! Something else that I was particularly pleased to be a part of, was my very first 'blind' ceremony, where Elleni was hair and make up ready but didn't want to get into her dress just yet, so Ant chose to keep his eyes shut for the legal ceremony prior to their celebration! It was a new experience for us all and was very funny & entertaining to say the least!

The rest of the day was just a joyous and fun to be a part of as the early stages of the day, with Ruby the celebrant leading a lovely ceremony with anecdotal stories of the pair and even a minute of mindfulness, was cracking to be a part of that too! Basically... the whole day was sweet as!

So here you go Elleni & Ant, I hope you both enjoy your photos and treasure them for a long while to come!
